MB Art Studio app: privacy policy

Effective 20 October 2026

MB Art Studio is the private web app that MB Art Studios (Reno, Nevada) uses to run its own workshop: designs, orders, stock and books. It is not offered to anyone else, and only MB Art Studios staff can sign in.

What it reads from QuickBooks. When an MB Art Studios administrator connects it to the studio's own QuickBooks Online company, the app reads that company's details, its chart of accounts, account balances, profit and loss reports and expense transactions. It uses them to show the studio its own figures. Where a member of staff asks it to, it may also record the studio's own transactions in QuickBooks, such as expenses, sales summaries and employee hours.

What it keeps. The app keeps the sign-in token Intuit issues, so that it can keep reading without a new sign-in. The token is never shown to anyone, and is deleted when the studio disconnects. Figures read from QuickBooks are shown on screen and are not kept or copied elsewhere.

Who sees it. Only MB Art Studios staff. The app does not sell, rent or share data with anyone, and does not use it for advertising.

Where it lives. The app runs on Cloudflare, and its database is hosted by Neon, both in the United States. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest.

Disconnecting. The studio can disconnect at any time, from the app's Settings › Stores page or from the Apps page in QuickBooks. Either way, the app deletes its token.
